Valid points. Im a designer that codes and I can agree with a lot of what you say.

I woulf argue the bare minimum a designer should be able to protoype with html,css, and javascript if they work in tech. Anything beyond that I agree is for the front-end guys. Unless you work in a startup … hehehe
