What is User Experience Design?
Every factor that influences the user’s perception of the product or service.
Since the beginning of the internet and the development of smartphones and mobile devices the term user experience design has gained significant popularity. Companies are progressively on the hunt for talented user experience designers. And a flurry of online businesses are offering courses on how to become a user experience designer. But what does all that mean?
The term user experience design can be defined as any experience or interaction a user has with a company’s product or services. As well as anything associated with the company’s products or services.
User experience design often abbreviated to UX, is most commonly associated with websites, software, or any other human computer interaction. There are many qualities that affect the user’s emotional response to a system. Things like aesthetics, responsiveness, familiarity, and usability.
Because user experience design is very diverse it is often the creation of a collaboration of disciplines that make the design work. Such as interface design, research, copy writing, development, information architecture, and more. User experience design should focus on creating a great experience around the customers exact needs.
User experience design works to improve utility, ease of use, and efficiency in user interactions with a product or service.
